Based on revenue, the AGA put the casinos in Philadelphia at seventh and Pocono at eleventh place out of 20 of the best markets in the country. There are five casinos in the Philadelphia metropolitan region. They include:

The AGA claims that in 2023, these establishments brought in $1.27 billion in income. It came in behind places like Yonkers (NY), Gulf Coast (MS), Baltimore/Washington DC (DC/MD/WV), Chicagoland (IL/IN), and Atlantic City (NJ).

Mohegan, Pennsylvania, and Mount Airy Casino make up the Poconos. Last year, these facilities brought in $934.7 million in income. The Poconos were placed lower than Detroit (MI), St. Louis (MO/IL), and Boulder Strip (NV).

Land-based facilities had an excellent year overall. A record $49.4 billion was made in 2023 from casino slots and table games, an increase of 3.3% over 2022.
