Boom Entertainment Set to Debut Online Casino Games in PA
Boom Entertainment’s sports betting and online casino production license was unanimously authorized by the PGCB as the Bureau of Investigation and Enforcement finished its investigation of the company.
The business was established in 2015, and NYC serves as its corporate headquarters. It is a cross-platform game developer that provides material for fantasy sports and well-known online slot machines.
Boom Entertainment received $15 million in September 2021 to modernize sports betting and casino gambling for the online world.
Rush Street Interactive (RSI) and Golden Nugget are identified as minority investors while Sand Capital oversaw the deal.
RSI’s BetRivers Casino is already well-established in the PA market, and Golden Nugget will shortly follow. Ironically, Boom Entertainment’s choice was made immediately following the PGCB’s acceptance of Golden Nugget’s application for an online casino license.
How Soon Will Boom Entertainment Enter the Pennsylvania Casino Industry?
It seems like PA players won’t have to wait that much. With relationships already established with some of the best operators, gamers in PA should soon be able to access these popular slots.
West Virginia, Ontario, and Michigan have also granted licenses to Boom Entertainment. The business last week announced its expansion to NJ in collaboration with BetRivers.
