With a large number of both brick-and-mortar and internet casinos, Pennsylvania is one of the wealthiest gambling jurisdictions in the US. Two retail Pennsylvania casinos, Parx Bensalem and Wind Creek Casino, cracked the top 10 commercial casinos outside of Nevada in terms of revenue, according to a Q3 report provided by the American Gaming Association (AGA).

According to the AGA, Q3 was another record-breaking month for gaming across the board, with Pennsylvania leading the charts.

Pennsylvania’s online casinos made a lot of news in the state, particularly after their September revenue records. But the state’s retail casinos are also quite prominent thanks to their excellence.

The AGA ranked Wind Creek Casino and Parx Bensalem among the top 10 casinos outside of Nevada based on their earnings. Wind Creek was ranked 11th in the AGA’s Q1 report, and it went up to 10th. The top ten casinos according to Q3 revenues are as follows:

  1. Resorts World (New York): $230 million;
  2. Borgata (New Jersey): $205 million;
  3. MGM National Harbor (Maryland): $203 million;
  4. Encore Boston Harbor (Massachusetts): $180 million;
  5. Live! Casino Maryland (Maryland): $175 million;
  6. Hard Rock Atlantic City (New Jersey): $150 million;
  7. Parx Bensalem (Pennsylvania): $147.2 million;
  8. Empire City (New York): $147 million;
  9. MGM Grand Detroit (Michigan): $145 million;
  10. Wind Creek Casino (Pennsylvania): $137.7 million.

Rivers Hotel and Casino Pittsburgh is in the top 20, it ranked 16th.
